Company relocations and leasing deals in major urban areas

  • Sumitomo Chemical moving into Tokyo Nihonbashi Tower 12.18.2018

    Sumitomo Chemical will relocate its Tokyo head office to Tokyo Nihonbashi Tower in Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku in the second half of 2021. The company will lease up to six floors in the building, which has a typical floor plate of 823 tsubos [2,720 m2], according to sources. The leased area will be up to just under 5,000 tsubos [16,500 m2].>>

  • Used car exporter Optimus to sell own building and move within neighborhood 12.14.2018

    Optimus Group will sell NB Mita Building in Shiba, Minato-ku. The transaction will take place in March 2019. The company will relocate its headquarters to Shiba 256 Square Building in Shiba, Minato-ku on February 18, 2019, which is before the handover of the NB Mita Building. The destination is a rental building about 600 m to the east of the current location.>>

  • Imura Envelope relocating to Namba SkyO 12.13.2018

    Imura Envelope, which is listed on the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, will relocate its headquarters to Namba SkyO in Namba, Chuo-ku, Osaka City. The company will lease around 70% of the 18th floor with an estimated floor area of around 390 tsubos [1,290 m2], where about 130 employees will work. >>

    V-Cube will relocate its headquarters to NBF Platinum Tower in Shirokane, Minato-ku. The move will take place in early February 2019. >>

  • Sumitomo Mitsui DS AM relocating to Toranomon Hills Business Tower 12.06.2018

    Sumitomo Mitsui DS Asset Management will relocate its headquarters to tentatively-named Toranomon Hills Business Tower in the first half of 2020. The company will be established in April 2019 through a takeover of Daiwa SB Investments by Sumitomo Mitsui Asset Management (SMAM). The relocation is aimed at streamlining business operations by concentrating offices that are scattered across multiple locations.>>

  • Sony subsidiary to lease 22,400 tsubos at Yokohama Grangate 12.05.2018

    Sony Imaging Products & Solutions will relocate its headquarters to Yokohama Grangate that is currently being constructed on Block 54 in the Minato-Mirai 21 District in Yokohama City in October 2020. >>

  • Electronic devices seller CoreStaff moving to DaiyaGate Ikebukuro 12.04.2018

    CoreStaff will relocate its headquarters to DaiyaGate Ikebukuro in Minami-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku. The details are unknown, but the company will lease up to one floor with typical floor plate of approximately 640 tsubos [2,120 m2], according to sources.>>

  • KDDI subsidiary moving to Toranomon Hills Business Tower 11.30.2018

    Supership Holdings, a subsidiary of major telecom provider KDDI, will relocate its headquarters to tentatively-named Toranomon Hills Business Tower in Toranomon, Minato-ku in the first half of 2020. >>

  • Consulting company Astamuse moving to Bizcore Jimbocho 11.29.2018

    Astamuse will relocate its headquarters to Bizcore Jimbocho in Kanda-Ogawamachi, Chiyoda-ku. The company did not disclose the timing and reasons for the move.>>
