Company relocations and leasing deals in major urban areas

  • EduLab relocating to Shibuya Nanpeidai Project 08.10.2018

    EduLab, which is engaged in the development of venture projects and start-up investment in the EdTech (Education x Technology) field, will move its headquarters to tentatively-named Nanpeidai Project in Shibuya. The company will lease one floor in the building, according to sources. The floor area that it will lease is estimated to be 528 tsubos [1,750 m2]. >>

  • Dentsu Tec setting up office in Shinbashi 1-9 Project 08.09.2018

    Dentsu Tec will establish an office in tentatively-named Shinbashi 1-9 Project, which will be completed at the end of September 2018. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of advertising agency Dentsu and is engaged in the planning and production of promotions in various fields.>>

  • WeWork to establish seventh Tokyo location in Nogizaka, Minato-ku 08.08.2018

    WeWork will establish its collaboration office in Nogizaka in Minato-ku. WeWork plans to lease the former Sanyo Shokai Aoyama Building with a gross floor area of 5,861 m2 in its entirety and it is expected that the collaboration office will be established during 2018. This will be WeWork’s seventh location in Tokyo.>>

  • Mitsui Chemicals Agro leasing S-Gate Nihonbashi-Honcho 08.07.2018

    Mitsui Chemicals Agro will establish an office in S-Gate Nihonbashi-Honcho, which will be completed at the end of October 2018. The agricultural chemical manufacturer is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsui Chemicals. Its headquarters is housed in Nihonbashi Dia Building in Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku since 2015, and will not be relocated.>>

  • Shoe manufacturer Crocs relocating to WeWork Shimbashi 08.06.2018

    The Japanese arm of Crocs, which deals with casual shoes made of resin, will relocate its headquarters to WeWork Shimbashi in Shinbashi, Minato-ku. WeWork Shimbashi, which opened in April 2018, leases the nine-storey building owned by Hulic in its entirety. >>

  • Laboratory instrument manufacturer Anton Paar moving to River Side Sumida 08.03.2018

    Anton Paar Japan will relocate its headquarters to River Side Sumida Central Tower in Tsutsumidori, Sumida-ku in mid-August 2018. The company will lease about half of the 13th floor in Central Tower and part of the first floor in the adjacent building, West Court. The lease area totals approximately 2,000 m2 of floor area and about 80 employees will work in the two buildings.>>

  • Job search site operator BizReach to lease Shibuya Dai-ichi Seimei Building 08.02.2018

    BizReach will establish a new base in Shibuya Dai-ichi Seimei Building in Shibuya, Shibuya-ku. The company has offices in three locations in the vicinity of JR Shibuya Station, but these offices have become crowded. Operations at the new location will start on August 6. >>

  • TEPCO JV moving to Nihonbashi Takashimaya Mitsui 07.30.2018

    Thermal power generation company Jera will move into Nihonbashi Takashimaya Mitsui Building, according to sources. The company was established in 2015, and is equally owned by TEPCO Fuel & Power and Chubu Electric Power. It is believed that the company will lease around 2,000 tsubos [6,610 m2] of floor area on multiple floors in the building. >>

  • Glove maker moving to PMO Tamachi Higashi 07.27.2018

    Showa Glove of Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture will relocate its Tokyo office to PMO Tamachi Higashi in Shiba, Minato-ku at the end of November 2018. The company will lease one floor in the building, which has a typical floor plate of 182 tsubos [602 m2]. About 45 employees will work at the new location.>>

  • Medical website operator Medley relocating to Sumitomo Fudosan Roppongi 07.26.2018

    Medley will relocate its headquarters to Sumitomo Fudosan Roppongi Grand Tower in Roppongi, Minato-ku in September 2018. Medley will lease about two thirds of a floor and about 300 employees will work there. The leased area is estimated to be approximately 660 tsubos [2,180 m2]. >>
