  • Condominium development site traded in Osaka 09.21.2018

    Real estate company Buena Vista of Osaka City purchased 144 m2 of land for development in Otedori, Chuo-ku, Osaka City. The transaction took place in August 2018 and the seller was In The Life, a real estate developer of Osaka City. Buena Vista will construct an apartment building on the site. >>

  • Sankei acquires nursing home development site in Suginami-ku 09.19.2018

    Sankei Building, a real estate arm of media conglomerate the Fujisankei Communications Group, acquired 1,651 m2 of development site in Hamadayama, Suginami-ku in March 2018. The seller was Odakyu Real Estate, a subsidiary of Odakyu Electric Railway. Sankei Building has a policy to construct a fee-based elderly care nursing home.>>

  • TKP's Suehirocho hotel project franchised from Apa Hotel 09.18.2018

    Rental conference room operator TKP will operate a hotel that it plans to develop in Soto-Kanda, Chiyoda-ku under a franchise agreement with Apa Hotel. The hotel is tentatively named Apa Hotel TKP Ueno-Hirokoji. It will provide 210 guestrooms on 13 floors above ground with 3,225 m2 of gross floor area.>>

  • Eight-storey retail building planned in Osaka’s Namba 09.14.2018

    Osaka City real estate company Brave will develop a retail building on a site that is a two-minute walk from Namba Station on the Nankai Line. The building will have 2,752 m2 of gross floor area and completion of the construction is expected to be in February 2020.>>

  • Kenedix JV to develop 122,000 m2 mixed-use building in Yokohama 09.13.2018

    Chiyoda-ku based GK KRF48, which is a special purpose company formed by Kenedix, will construct a mixed-use building having 28 floors above ground and one below with a gross floor area of approximately 122,000 m2 in Block 37 in the central district of Minato Mirai 21 in Nishi-ku, Yokohama City. The building will be composed of office, hotel and retail spaces and construction will start in 2019 with completion targeted for 2023.>>

  • Okayama company developing studio condominium in Ikebukuro 09.11.2018

    Cothax Investment, an Okayama City-based real estate company which is an affiliate of Sanko Construction of Okayama City, will construct a studio condominium in Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku、Tokyo. >>

  • Agora Hospitality to start construction on Ginza hotel 09.10.2018

    Minato-ku based Agora Hospitality Group will start constructing a hotel in Ginza, Chuo-ku from December 2018. The hotel will have 12 floors above ground with a gross floor area of 2,179 m2 and 98 guestrooms. Completion is targeted for March 2020.>>

  • Apa developing 170-room hotel in Osaka’s Namba 09.07.2018

    The Apa Group, a hotel chain operator, obtained 526 m2 of land in Nishi-Shinsaibashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka City in July 2018. Apa consequently owned the land by acquiring the land owner, Apro of Osaka City, the corporate name of which was changed to Apa Real Estate. Apa plans to develop a hotel on the land. >>

  • Mitsubishi developing mixed-use building in Shiodome, Minato-ku 09.04.2018

    Mitsubishi Estate will construct a rental building consisting of spaces for offices and restaurants in Higashi-Shinbashi, Minato-ku. The structure will have nine floors above ground with 1,487 m2 of gross floor area. Construction was started in July 2018, with completion targeted for September 2019. >>

  • Sumitomo Corp sells building site to Sumitomo Mitsui Finance 09.04.2018

    Trading firm Sumitomo Corporation sold a 70% quasi co-ownership interest in the site of tentatively-named Hanzomon PREX North, which is under construction in Kojimachi, Chiyoda-ku, to Chiyoda-ku's Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing. The transaction took place in April 2018.>>
