Co-ops Install 1.4MW Rooftop Solar Plant at Physical Distribution Center

Co-op Deli Consumers' Co-operative Union, which consists of seven consumers' co-operatives based in the Kanto and Koshinetsu regions of Japan, announced Oct 5, 2017, that it has installed a 1.4708MW solar power generation system on the roof of a physical distribution center in Noda City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

The plant started operations Oct 10, 2017. At the plant, 5,020 solar panels manufactured by Panasonic Corp were installed. Also, two 500kW and one 250kW PV inverters manufactured by Sansha Electric Manufacturing Co Ltd were set up. Panasonic Commercial Equipment Systems Co Ltd provided construction services.
