Daiwa Energy to Set Up 4MW of Solar Plants in Fukushima

A ground-breaking ceremony for the plant

Daiwa Energy Co Ltd announced that it will build three solar power plants with a total output of 4.0MW in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.

The plants will be built on the site of a former camping ground with an area of 150,297m2. The camping ground was closed after 25 years of operation due to the Great East Japan Earthquake.

As a power producer, Daiwa Energy is responsible for engineering, construction, operation and maintenance in the project. The company will rent power generation facilities from Fuyo General Lease Co Ltd.
