Fit Begins Construction of 2.57MW Solar Plant in Tokushima

Fit Inc announced Aug 29, 2016, that it has started construction of a solar power plant with an output of about 2.57MW in Tokushima Prefecture, Japan.

The plant will be built on about 23,670m2 of land in Ichinomiya-cho, Tokushima City, and is scheduled to start operations in February 2017.

The plant is expected to generate about 3,065,000kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 851 households, per year. Electricity generated at the plant will be sold to Shikoku Electric Power Co Inc at a price of ¥36/kWh (excluding tax).
