Sanko Real Estate Completes 2MW Solar Plant in Mie

Sanko Real Estate Co Ltd announced Sept 27, 2016, that a solar power plant with an output of about 2MW has been completed in Minamiise-cho, Watarai-gun, Mie Prefecture, Japan.

Sanko Real Estate (Tsu City, Mie Prefecture) is an operational company affiliated with Mie Kotsu Group Holdings Inc. It had a ceremony to celebrate the completion of the mega (large-scale) solar power plant, "Minamiise Konsa Mega Solar Power Plant," Sept 28, 2016.

It is Sanko Real Estate's 18th solar power plant in operation. And the company has thus far started to operate about 41MW of solar plants.

The latest solar power plant was built on about 2.0ha of land in Konsa, Minamiise-cho. It is expected to generate about 2,520,000kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 700 households, per year.

Chiyoda System Technologies Corp (Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama City), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chiyoda Corp, provided EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) services for the plant.

The solar panel and PV inverter employed for the plant are products of Solar Frontier KK and Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corp (TMEIC), respectively.
