China-based Asia Clean Capital (ACC) Ltd announced Sept 26, 2016, that it has agreed to form a business partnership with Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corp (TMEIC) to go forward with a solar power generation project with a total output of 200MW in mainland China.

Under this agreement, ACC will build solar power generation systems and raise capital while TMEIC will provide PV inverters, etc for the solar power generation systems that ACC will install on roofs as well as services such as technical support.

ACC and TMEIC have so far cooperated in several solar power generation projects including a 20MW solar power plant at a shipyard in the eastern region of China.

"TMEIC is a global leader in solar inverter manufacturing, having developed the world's first super-large inverter of one-megawatt in 1983," ACC CEO Thomas Lapham said. "Cooperation between ACC and TMEIC will allow both companies to further accelerate their development of the red-hot Chinese solar market."

ACC runs its renewable energy business, targeting at major companies as main customers. It actively engages in solar power generation business across China by, for example, tying up not only with major companies like TMEIC but also with the US-based venture firm having special technology.
