Kandenko Completes 1.99MW Solar Plant in Chiba

Kandenko Co Ltd announced Aug 3, 2016, that a solar power plant with an output of 1.99MW has been completed in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.

It is Kandenko's eighth solar power plant in operation. And the company currently runs about 28.5MW of solar power plants.

For the plant, 10,388 solar panels were set up on about 34,000m2 of land in Mutsuzawa-machi, Chousei-gun, Chiba Prefecture. It is expected to generate about 3,000MWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 581 households, per year.
