Fine Woods (Minato-ku, Tokyo), which sells solar power generation (PV) systems, solar hot water systems, etc, started to accept orders for a residential power storage system for the self-consumption of electricity generated by a residential PV system Jan 22, 2019.

It can be introduced at a low cost because it does not require the replacement of existing solar panels or PV inverters.

The power storage system, "e-Finit," consists of a DC controller (for controlling charge/discharge) and a storage battery and is connected between solar panels and PV inverters. The DC controller appropriately controls charge/discharge based on power input from solar panels and CT meters.
