Tokyo Stock Exchange Lists 3rd Issue on Infrastructure Fund Market

A mega solar plant invested in by the fund

Japan Renewable Energy Infrastructure Investment Firm (Minato-ku, Tokyo) was listed as the third issue on the Infrastructure Fund Market of Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) March 29, 2017.

The assets of Japan Renewable Energy Infrastructure Investment Firm is managed by RJ Investment Co Ltd (Minato-ku, Tokyo), which is affiliated with Renewable Japan Co Ltd (Minato-ku, Tokyo), which develops solar power plants.

The highest value per equity was ¥89,200 (approx US$796), but, as of 15:00 on March 29, its closing price was ¥86,600. The projected dividend was announced to be ¥6,141 for the full fiscal year ending Jan 31, 2018. And the dividend yield estimated based on the closing price is about 7.1%

Japan Renewable Energy Infrastructure Investment Firm invests mainly in mega (large-scale) solar power plants that have been developed and run by Renewable Japan. Its total assets are worth about ¥9.279 billion, of which infrastructures account for about ¥8.384 billion (at the time of purchase). About 90% of the capital was invested in solar power generation facilities.

According to the "table of the state of asset management," which was published by TSE, the assets include eight solar power plants with a total output of about 24MW (solar panel capacity) (See related article).
