7 Solar Plants Set Up in Kyoto, Hyogo, Fukui

Tango Solar Power Co Ltd announced Jan 24, 2019, that it has set up seven solar power plants in Miyazu and Maizuru cities (Kyoto Prefecture), Toyooka City (Hyogo Prefecture) and Wakasa-cho (Fukui Prefecture).

Tango Solar Power is a special purpose company (SPC) established and financed by The Kaneshita Construction Co Ltd, Omron Field Engineering Co Ltd (Meguro-ku, Tokyo) and Kyocera Corp.

The solar panel capacity and grid capacity of the seven plants are 3.228MW and 2.831MW, respectively, in total. They are expected to generate 3,481MWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 700 households, per year, eliminating 1,885t of CO2 emissions.
