Company relocations and leasing deals in major urban areas

  • Financial data provider Uzabase relocating to Tri-Seven Roppongi 06.22.2018

    Uzabase will move its headquarters to Tri-Seven Roppongi in Roppongi, Minato-ku. The company and its group companies, five in total, will lease the 13th floor of the building, which has a typical floor plate of 516 tsubos [1,710 m2]. About 300 employees will initially work on the floor, but the number will increase in the future.>>

  • Globis opening classroom in Sumitomo Fudosan Kojimachi First 06.21.2018

    Business school Globis will lease the tenth floor of Sumitomo Fudosan Kojimachi First Building, which has a typical floor plate of 320 tsubos [1,060 m2], to open a new class. The company aims to enlarge its space in response to an increase in student numbers. >>

  • US IT vendor DXC moving into Kyobashi Edogrand 06.20.2018

    DXC Technology Japan will relocate its headquarters to Kyobashi Edogrand in Kyobashi, Chuo-ku. The relocation is aimed at streamlining business operations by consolidating offices of two group companies. The moves of the two companies will take place at the end of June and at the end of July 2018. >>

  • Mitsubishi Corp subsidiary moving to Tamachi Station Tower S 06.19.2018

    Mitsubishi Corporation Technos will relocate its headquarters to Tamachi Station Tower South in msb (mu-su-bu) Tamachi in Shibaura, Minato-ku. Operations at the new location will start on August 13. The wholly-owned subsidiary of trading firm Mitsubishi Corporation will lease approximately 300 tsubos [992 m2] of floor area in the building.>>

  • US firm puts Japan HQ in WeWork Hibiya Parkfront 06.18.2018

    The Japanese arm of Cheetah Digital of the U.S. will relocate its headquarters to WeWork Hibiya Parkfront in August 2018. WeWork plans to lease four office floors to open the collaboration office WeWork Hibiya Parkfront on July 2. >>

  • IT company Plaid takes 600 tsubos in Ginza Six 06.15.2018

    Online customer service tool provider Plaid will relocate its headquarters to the tenth floor of Ginza Six on July 2. It aims to expand its office through the relocation as the existing office has become crowded. It will lease 2,039 m2 of area which is a little over four times the area which it previously leased. >>

  • Japan Atomic Power leasing 2,400 tsubos in Sumitomo’s Akihabara project 06.14.2018

    The Japan Atomic Power Company (JAPC) will relocate its headquarters to the tentatively-named Sumitomo Fudosan Akihabara North Project. The company will lease all of the office floors with an estimated floor area of approximately 2,400 tsubos [7,930 m2] in total, according to sources. >>

  • Payment service provider leasing 1,000 tsubos in Sumitomo's Kojimachi First 06.13.2018

    Net Protections will relocate its headquarters to Sumitomo Fudosan Kojimachi First Building on July 2. The company will lease three floors from the fifth to the seventh floor of the building, which has a typical floor plate of 320 tsubos [1,060 m2]. >>

  • Game developer AltPlus relocating to Sunshine 60 in Ikebukuro 06.12.2018

    AltPlus, which is listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, will move its headquarters to Sunshine 60 in Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku. The relocation will take place in September 2018. The company will lease about half of one floor with an estimated floor area of approximately 300 tsubos [992 m2]. >>

  • Fuji Chemical Industries moving to Sumitomo Fudosan Onarimon Tower 06.11.2018

    Fuji Chemical Industries of Kamiichi-machi, Toyama Prefecture will relocate its Tokyo Branch Office to Sumitomo Fudosan Onarimon Tower in Shibakoen, Minato-ku. The headquarters of AstaReal and the Tokyo office of Asta Pharma of Kamiichi-machi, Toyama Prefecture will also move to the new location. The two companies are part of the Fuji Chemical Industries group. >>
