  • Apa developing 347-room hotel in Omori, Ota-ku 07.13.2018

    Minato-ku's hotel chain operator Apa Group will construct tentatively-named Apa Hotel Omori Ekimae in Omori-Kita, Ota-ku. It will offer 347 guestrooms on 14 floors above ground and one below with 5,975 m2 of gross floor area. Construction will start in September 2018 with completion targeted for December 2019. >>

  • Osaka Gas to hold more Tokyo apartment buildings 07.13.2018

    Osaka Gas Urban Development acquired two rental apartment buildings in Shinagawa-ku and Sumida-ku, Tokyo in February and March 2018. With the two buildings, the number of properties in the capital area owned by the subsidiary of Osaka Gas increased to 25 buildings with 1,227 units. The company also announced its plans to develop two other rental apartment buildings in the two wards.>>

  • Fujita developing retail-office building in Harajuku 07.12.2018

    General constructor Fujita will construct a mixed-use building consisting of retail and office floors in Jingumae, Shibuya-ku. Plans call for the structure to have seven floors above ground with 3,489 m2 of gross floor area. Construction will start in August 2018, with completion targeted for May 2020. >>

  • Sankei developing S-Gate office building in Hatchobori, Chuo-ku 07.11.2018

    Sankei Building, a real estate arm of media conglomerate the Fujisankei Communications Group, will construct tentatively-named S-Gate Hatchobori Project in Hatchobori, Chuo-ku. The mid-sized office building will have ten floors above ground with 4,005 m2 of gross floor area. >>

  • Itochu JV to develop hotel in Ikebukuro 07.09.2018

    Itochu Property Development of Minato-ku, its parent trading firm Itochu and Kyoritsu Estate, a subsidiary of dorm and hotel operator Kyoritsu Maintenance, will construct a hotel in Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku. The structure will have 15 floors above ground and one below with 5,822 m2 of gross floor area.>>

  • Osaka’s Shinwa secures 3,500 m2 resi plot in Hyogo's Nishinomiya 07.09.2018

    Shinwa Real Estate of Toyonaka City, Osaka Prefecture acquired former Mitsubishi Chemical Nishinomiya Apartment in Oyacho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture. The transaction took place in April 2018 and the seller was Mitsubishi Chemical.>>

  • Sumitomo Corp developing 6,400 m2 GFA office in Kanda 07.06.2018

    Trading firm Sumitomo Corporation will construct an office building in Uchi-Kanda, Chiyoda-ku. Plans call for the property to have eight floors above ground with 6,400 m2 of gross floor area. The design will be entrusted to Nikken Sekkei. Construction will start in December 2018, with completion targeted for May 2020. >>

  • Tokyu Land developing hotel in Asakusa 07.04.2018

    Tokyu Land will construct a mixed-use building consisting of a hotel and stores in Asakusa, Taito-ku. Plans call for the building to have 13 floors above ground with 6,086 m2 of gross floor area. >>

  • Open House acquires 800 m2 condo development site in Meguro-ku 07.03.2018

    Open House Development, a unit of homebuilder Open House of Chiyoda-ku, purchased 835 m2 of land in Takaban, Meguro-ku. The transaction took place in April 2018 and the sellers were multiple individuals. Open House Development plans to construct a for-sale condominium.>>

  • Mitsubishi Logistics, Meitetsu developing office building near Nagoya Station 07.02.2018

    Mitsubishi Logistics and Nagoya Railroad (a.k.a. Meitetsu) will jointly develop a rental office building in Meieki, Nishi-ku, Nagoya City. The property will have 14 floors above ground and one below with about 19,000 m2 of gross floor area and a typical floor plate of about 1,000 m2. >>
