Shizen Energy to Build 1.1MW Solar Plant Using German Mounting System

Shizen Energy Inc (Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo) performed a groundbreaking ceremony for the first mega (large-scale) solar power plant to be run by the company on the construction site in Minamiise-chou, Mie Prefecture, Japan, June 6, 2014.

The output capacity of the plant is about 1.1MW. It is scheduled to be completed in September 2014.

The mega solar plant will be built in an industrial park owned by the government of Minamiise-chou. The solar panel, PV inverter and mounting system employed for the plant are products of BYD (China), SMA Solar Technology (Germany) and juwi (Germany), respectively.
