Kanden Energy Solution to Build 1.9MW Solar Plant in Hyogo

Kanden Energy Solution Co Inc, which is affiliated with The Kansai Electric Power Co Inc (KEPCO), announced Oct 5, 2017, that it will build a solar power plant with a rated output of 1.99MW in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.

The plant is scheduled to start operations in June 2018. It will be built on about 2.5ha of land owned by KEPCO. It is expected to generate about 2,600,000kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 830 households, per year. The manufacturer of the solar panel employed for the plant is LG Electronics Inc.
