1.2MW Solar Plant Set Up on Roof of Daiwa House's Physical Distribution Facilities

Daiwa House Industry Co Ltd announced Sept 20, 2017, that the construction of physical distribution facilities for multiple tenants was completed in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, and the facilities will start full operation Oct 1, 2017.

A mega (large-scale) solar power plant with an output of 1.2MW was set up on the roof of the facilities. And electricity generated at the plant will be sold to Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc.

About 4,500 solar panels (output: 270W/kWh) were installed on an area of about 14,000m2. The solar panel and PV inverter employed for the plant are products of Canadian Solar Inc and Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems Corp (TMEIC), respectively.
