Sony has already announced its partnerships with Robert Bosch GmbH, Denso corp, Israel-based Mobileye. This time, it newly tied up with Toyota Motor Corp, Nissan Motor Co Ltd, The Hyundai Motor Company, Kia Motor Corp and Nvidia Corp.

At its booth, Sony had a demonstration by using mainly three kinds of automotive image sensors. First, with a sensor whose sensitivity was enhanced by increasing pixel size, the company took clear images in a dark place with a brightness of about 0.05lx.
