4 Firms Build 4MW Solar Plant in Ishikawa

The 4MW solar power plant in Nanao City

Ohtakedenki Inc, Tosmac-i Corp, Hakusan Construction Co Ltd and Yamatoshouji built a solar power plant with an output of about 4MW in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, and had a ceremony to celebrate the completion of the plant Dec 7, 2017.

On 34,443.9m2 of land, 14,112 solar panels were installed. The plant is expected to generate 4,850,000kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 1,000 households, per year. The solar panel and PV inverter employed for the plant are products of Panasonic Corp and Daihen Corp, respectively.
