SB Energy to Build 1.2MW Solar Plant in Kagoshima

SB Energy Corp (Minato-ku, Tokyo) announced Nov 15, 2017, that it will build a 1.2MW solar power plant in Satsuma-Sendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.

For the plant, 6,720 solar panels will be installed on about 1.9ha of privately-owned land. The plant is expected to generate about 1,412,000kWh of electricity, which is equivalent to the amount consumed by 392 households, per year. The FIT tariff set for the plant is ¥36.

The solar panel, PV inverter and mounting system employed for the plants are products of Solar Frontier KK, Huawei Technologies Co Ltd and Xiamen Grace Solar Technology Co Ltd, respectively.
